The Paper Bag - inspiration #17

Would you spend €230 on a designer (coated) paper bag? The new MUST HAVE paper bag for men who pack their own lunch. The Rolls Royce of the paper bags! The Vasari Bag, from Jil Sander. Yes, its a brown paper bag with visible stitching, some gold-colored eyelets, and 'Jil Sander' printed at the bottom.... but it's still a brown paper bag... Luckly for us, the Vasari also comes in a black leather option, which will be sold for €600...

This is not the first time Jil Sander has debuted a nondescript 'It' bag. Last year, the label sold for €130 another carrier, made of plastic. So what are you spending your money on??

Paris

The first thing you see when you walk out of the metro. Surrounded by all the beautiful buildings at the background. Every time I'm overwhelmed by the architecture and the colors of this city..

The Hotel:
Surrealism

Amazingly beautiful staircase

The entrance

The lobby

My new favorite hotel: La Maison Champs Elysees. The first hotel decorated by Martin Margiela. Lots of white and lots of funny tricks and a 'superbe' service!

The City:

Palais Royal

Top: Zara, Pants: Zara, Shoes: Jimmy Choo, Sunglasses: Prada, Bag: Martin Margiela

Louvre

Petit Palais

Are you planning to go to Paris? Don't miss the exposition about Marc Jacobs and Louis Vuitton in Les Arts Decoratifs (till September 16). Have a coffee at Hotel Costes and buy there newest CD. Go shopping big time!! A few shops to name: Colette, L'Eclaireur (i.a. Rue Boissy D'Anglas), Martin Margiela (i.a. Rue de Montpensier), Galeries du Palais Royal, Merci, Montaigne Market, Le Bon Marche. A few streets who are worth visiting: Rue de Grenelle, Rue Saint-Honore, Avenue Montaigne, Rue Jacob (for Isabel Marant, Laduree and around the corner Dries van Noten). In the meantime, have another coffee at Cafe Marly, a lunch at Les Deux Margos or L'Avenue (this time I sat next to PSG football player Ibrahimovic) or a small dish at MiniPalais and most of all take a look at the beautiful architecture and enjoy a stroll through Jardin des Tuilieries or Jardin du Luxembourg.
